These recycled wool beanies are made from old knitwear headed for landfill.  The wool isn’t dyed - it’s hand sorted according to colour and then shredded and turned back into yarn in a wool mill in the UK.  Not only do these beanies help reduce the hundreds of thousands of tonnes of clothing going into land fill every year but the manufacturing process also uses less water and energy than virgin wool.
