Hello, I'm Lucille and I make your recycled wool beanies here in Tasmania on my hand operated vintage knitting machine.  I love knitting, I love colour and I love learning about wool and doing the homework on which wools are better for the environment.

When I was 10 the first thing I ever knitted was one leg warmer.  It was meant to be a scarf but it had taken the whole school holidays and I hadn’t made much progress.  Luckily my grandma stepped in and made a matching one.  I’m a lot better at finishing projects these days.

 I also love making things that are special, things that will last and things that you can feel good about wearing.
